Czarina is an ASEAN Scholar and an MOE Teaching Awardee, who spent several years as a teacher of Mathematics and Physics. Her years in university geared her towards her interest in teaching and education. Czarina also was in charge of crafting learning journeys for the students, where she designed themed off-site experiences that took place in a ‘journey’ for students.
Czarina’s love for teaching developed into a keen interest in coaching and mentoring individuals from Generation Y in the area of vital life-skills – a passion she holds close to her heart.
Czarina has a degree in Mathematical Sciences, specialising in Pure Mathematics and a minor in Physics from the Nanyang Technological University as well as a post-gradate diploma in Education.
As an educator, I have a desire and passion to see people develop in different areas of their lives. While it is fulfilling to see them do well vocationally, I find great joy in seeing a person understand and recognize their potential. The work environment and purpose of ROHEI aligns to the things I am passionate about.
Czarina’s favourite pastime is reading, and she often has found it to be great de-stresser. The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, Sherlock Holmes and Chronicles of Narnia, you name it – she’s read it.
When not reading – Czarina can be found spending time with individuals she mentors – mostly high-school and college-age students. She enjoys spending time with them, sometimes as a mentor or big sister, but mostly as a friend.
