ROHEI at HR Summit Asia 2017

News & Press   |   June 1, 2017

We enjoyed spending time with each one of our guests at the HR Summit and Expo Asia last May 3 and 4 at the Suntec City Convention and Exhibition Centre.

We are thankful to HRM Asia for the wonderful spot near the event’s entrance. Our booth featured Artisan Learning work of both ROHEI learners and trainers—in photography, pottery, calligraphy, and illustration. Art is one of the things we value deeply for its insight into human nature, and its ability to deeply engage learners and uncover new ways of appreciating work and life.

The booth was thoughtfully designed by ROHEI’s experience designers and reflects an artisan approach to training—a deep value of the craft, and the creativity our team seeks to bring into the training space, allowing us to create inspired learning experiences that transform hearts and minds.

Disruption-proof and future-ready were the buzzwords of the event. Our Chief Learning Architect Yu Khing Poh was invited to share on The Future of Work, Skills, and Learning. His talk reinforced the reality that strengthening core skills and building trust at the workplace are essential to future-proof one’s career and prepare organisations for the journey ahead, in this VUCA (volatile, uncertain, complex, ambiguous) world.

At the booth, ROHEI trainers and leaders spoke with guests about inspiring change, transforming culture, and helping organisations create an environment where trust can thrive. What resonated with our team is the knowledge that it is everyone’s desire to work with people they trust. Building trust is a long journey, and it comes at great cost and sacrifice, especially to a company’s leaders.

Building a culture of trust is difficult yet we are committed to sustaining, building, and re-building trust as we journey forward as a company, inspiring change and transforming culture in the global workforce.

At HR Summit, we also launched a mini ebook, which we offered to all HR Summit guests, called Building a Culture of Trust by our CE Rachel Ong. It is now available for you as well, and you can download your complimentary copy here.
