ROHEI Hosts the CoP on Business Performance and the Human Capital Community
News & Press | August 6, 2018
We were privileged to host the Community of Practice on Business Performance and the Human Capital Community at ROHEI last July 20.
Sharing on “Organisation culture in developing and retaining high potential performers—with special consideration for millennials and younger staff,” ROHEI’s Deputy CE Praise Mok was joined by our Head of People Excellence Claribel Abadilla, and Deputy Head of Training, Consulting, Coaching and Curriculum Design Aline Eustaquio-Low.
They addressed a group of business leaders eager to hear how to transform culture, and engage millennials.
“When (millennials) feel that they are in a safe place, they will naturally flourish,” Praise said. Millennials need a sense of purpose, and the organisation’s vision and values are key to talent attraction and retention.
The audience was pleased to hear from ROHEI’s millennials as well and gained insights on what it means to engage and develop staff, and build an emotionally safe environment.
“A good culture is when it is intentional and thought has been put into it. While our culture is not yet where it should be, it’s good to know that it is indeed possible,” said one of our guests after the session.
